You know, J.Crew never ceases to amaze me. I’ve had them in my heart for years and I could never let them go. This is a great place to purchase bridesmaids dresses because they are easy to get to, you don’t need an appointment to try anything on, you don’t have to order anything and most importantly…their choices for bridesmaids are fierce.

I updated the bridesmaid side of my brain today with their new Spring collection and I found two great dresses for maids. One is a royal blue, fun but it’s a totally chic dress and the other is a chocolate colored halter that is also playful and will look fierce on any body type if you ask me.
Both dresses reach right at the knee and I really like that. It’s not because I’m conservative or anything, but it’s just that some skirts above the knee can become out of control, show too much, lifts up in the back - if you got some junk in your trunk - and everybody is supposed to be staring at the Bride and not at her maids. How you doin’?

Bridesmaids Fahions: Tip of the Day!
All jokes aside, I recommend that Brides go shop off the rack for their Bridesmaids, but make sure that the dresses fit into one of my 5 C’s of fabulousness ( ^ look in my logo for the 5 C’s) and make sure that said dresses are well made. I hate dresses that show lines…not cute. Rack dresses are not necessarily cheaper than dresses that are ordered to be made so keep that in mind. My motto is: “YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!”
